A relaxed evening of singalong classics is coming to Stone this autumn, as community brass band Florence Brass presents All Together Now – The Big Family Singalong.

Everyone is welcome, whatever their singing ability. Lyrics are provided, so there is nothing to learn in advance, and refreshments are available during the evening. Audience members who would rather sit back and listen than join in are just as welcome as those who want to sing every word.
Dave Chapman, Musical Director of Florence Brass, said: “This is not a sit-still-and-be-quiet sort of concert. We want people singing, and we want families in the room. If you know the words, brilliant. If you don’t, we will put them in front of you.”
All proceeds from the evening will be shared equally between St Michael & St Wulfad’s Church and Florence Brass.
Welcome to the website of Florence Brass, a friendly non-contesting brass band based in Longton, Stoke-on-Trent. We are privileged to have the support of Florence Sports and Social Club (on part of the the old Florence Colliery site) where we rehearse every Wednesday evening in one of their function rooms, 7.45pm – 9.45 pm (Bar facilities on-site).
The band is available for a number of local engagements each year in Staffordshire (Longton, Trentham, Stoke, Stone, Stafford, Leek, Newcastle etc.), Cheshire and Shropshire areas that include Park Bandstand, Village Fete, Carnival, full indoor concerts, Christmas concerts/events and other Private Functions/events.
We have a wide musical repertoire that covers traditional brass band, classical, film, TV, pop music, big band and many more styles of music.
